The Ruck - a single vineyard tasting of 3 vintages

Getting Rucked - a new term to describe sharing 3 bottles of wine...

The CULT CONTINUES..... It was a long time in the making....

Why the name The Ruck? Only 3 goslings hatched during the vintage of 2003.

TASTING NOTES

Take a gander at Schubert Estate's new boxed set of shiraz

The Barossa Valley's Schubert Estate has recently launced its second boxed collector's set. After the success of The Gaggle, which included the first three vintages of the renowned GOOSE-YARD BLOCK SHIRAZ it has introduced The Ruck, a trio of vintages from 2003, 2004 and 2005 (A$230). We suspect this collection won't be on offer for long - especially as the 2004 was given 95 by James Halliday in his latest Wine Companion and Robert Parker Jr decreed that the 2003 displayed a "surreal combination of purity and elegance" giving it same high score.
